Light Of The World
For thousands of years there was a darkness that appeared unimpeded.It brought great persecution and agony. For many generations, there was hope for a great king that would vanquish the darkness. One that would rise up with great earthly power. But a king, at least as they were thinking, never came. God had a different plan. Instead this hope came in the form of a child... And while it wasn’t the grand event many imagined, it’s importance was nevertheless far reaching. Because it wasn’t just any child, but a king destined to be above This child, was Jesus Christ. And because of His miraculous birth, perfect life, death in our place, and victorious resurrection, this light can now live in us. A light that illuminates the darkness. The light of the world.
